Shaquita Harris, born and raised in Chicago, IL, began her journey as a teen mentor in the Just Say Know program, a community initiative started by her father, Bernard Clark. With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Shaquita brings a wealth of  knowledge and a heart for service to every endeavor. In addition to her professional background, Shaquita is an ordained minister at her church, where she actively supports youth ministry. Her passion for empowering young people inspired her to establish Legacy Mentoring in January 2021, recognizing a growing need to equip youth with essential life skills for adulthood. Through Legacy Mentoring, Shaquita’s mission is to help teens and young adults build strong relationships, develop social competence, foster positive attitudes, and gain life skills that will guide them toward a successful future. Her dedication to nurturing the next generation is rooted in her belief that every young person has the potential to thrive with the right support and guidance.
